The tranquil atmosphere really added to the relaxation during our stay, making it a perfect retreat.
Unfortunately, the waiter at the restaurant couldn't provide details about the vegetables on offer, leading to a frustrating dining experience.

the supposedly luxury hotel felt more like a rundown shack where everything was just a twist of luck. my room was filled with dust, and the wifi connection was terrible, totally unacceptable. absolutely no offers of any welcome gifts or room upgrades were made. i almost gave a good review, but the poor service ruined it for me.

It was just a well-suited match for a brief stopover in Auckland with value for price. I appreciated the spacious balcony with a lovely mountain view that made my mornings enjoyable. Be sure to confirm any special requests in advance to avoid issues about room arrangements.

The new premium rooms are spacious and modern, offering some of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. The gardens are well-kept, showcasing beautiful roses and providing a nice backdrop for relaxation.
Getting to the hotel can be a bit tricky due to the confusing access roads. it’s not exactly taxi-friendly. The restaurant atmosphere feels dated, and the food pricing is hard to justify, like $28 for a minuscule cheese board and an awkward experience with service—items ordered never made it to the table. The pool area is oddly accessed through a meandering route that belies the whole 'escape' vibe. dinner service was incredibly slow, and we found ourselves waiting far too long just for drinks that never came.

Swam in the pool surrounded by birdsong in the morning and enjoyed a perfect breakfast. The room was spacious and cozy, though the lounge area could use better lighting. I'd stay again!
